Inspiring Excellence in Piano Performance

Duy Bui received a Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance from the Manhattan School of Music. Following graduation, he spent two years at the University of Massachusetts Amherst on a grant to research American Popular Music and served as an Assistant Professor in the Music History Department. He then earned his Master’s degree in Music Education from the University of New Hampshire.

Duy has performed piano concerts at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Yamaha Hall, Steinway Hall, Jordan Hall, Miller Theater (Columbia University), and other concert venues in New York, New England, Colorado, California, and Russia.

He has composed piano and choral music for school and community ensembles across the United States.

Duy teaches music at Rye Junior High School during the school year and spends his summers teaching and conducting music ensembles at camps and retreats for musicians who are blind or visually impaired.

He is currently the President of the New Hampshire Music Teachers Association.
